Hope Coppice Celebration Wood

At Hope Coppice we have dedicated a special space amongst nature where you can celebrate a loved one by creating a living, lasting tribute to them by planting a tree. Hope Coppice is a natural haven for wildlife, with newly planted woodlands and meadows, offering a tranquil place to stop and appreciate the moment, somewhere you can enjoy the surroundings and be embraced by nature. Hope Coppice provides a gateway into the rural areas of the borough with a good network of paths connecting Shirley to the villages of Dickens Heath and Cheswick Green.

You can also sponsor a celebration tree in a selection of parks located across the borough.  Simply choose one of our wonderful parks from the map below.

 

Your sponsorship of £495 exc. VAT will cover the cost of purchasing and caring for the tree during the first three years.  When first planted the tree will be approximately 2 metres tall, we will use stakes to secure the tree, and various accessories will be used to protect the tree helping it to grow and flourish.

Join us to plant your tree

The planting season takes place from November to March exclusively each calendar year, if you would personally like to plant your tree, we will let you know when it is happening. On the day our team will be on hand to give you a warm welcome and guide you through planting your tree. If you are unable to attend the planting, we'll send a photograph of your tree along with its location. You are welcome to return as often as you wish as your tree grows and becomes part of a rich and diverse habitat for nature to thrive.

If you are interested in sponsoring a tree for the 2024/25 planting season, then please complete the application form by 30th June 2024, this will give us time to order you tree for the forthcoming season.
