Love Greenhill Way

We have been working in partnership with a number of local organisations to clean up areas of the borough. Clean Up Days delivered through the Love Solihull campaign have been taking place across Solihull this year with community groups and businesses joining local residents and Council staff in an attempt to spruce up their areas.

Staff from local Premier Inns, Tesco, Solihull Community Housing and AMEY joined the Council’s Neighbourhood Services team and the local community on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 August 2015 to tidy up the planted area off Green Hill Way. As well as being in need of a general clear up, local residents raised concerns of the area feeling un-safe and requested the planted area to be reduced so they could look out for their neighbours. As a result the volunteers, including Councillors Karen Grinsell and Annette Mackenzie joined partners and local residents to improve the area, cut back shrubbery and make the area feel and look safe.
